Our towing company's prices in Bayonne, NJ: a $149 booking fee, $129 online, the miles quoted first, nothing added later
Every truck belongs to the same company, so every truck works from the same price list. The booking fee is printed below, the miles are quoted on the call, roadside work is one flat price per job, and terminals, carriers and shops can run on a rate sheet with monthly billing.
Fee plus miles: how our company prices every Bayonne tow, whichever of our trucks is sent
A Bayonne tow is a $149 booking fee ($129 online) plus a per-mile charge to the address you give, both quoted before a truck leaves, with a third item only when a car cannot roll or steer and needs winching or dollies, which the driver prices before starting.
| What | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Booking fee by phone | $149 | Dispatch and hook-up, any hour |
| Booking fee online | $129 | $20 off when you book it yourself |
| Mileage to your destination | Quoted on the call | Before the truck moves. You pick the shop. |
| Jump start · tire · lockout · fuel | One flat price each | No mileage. Tried first when it can solve it. |
| Winch or dollies | Only if the car will not roll | Named before the work, you decide |
| Night, weekend, holiday, fuel surcharge | None | 3 a.m. costs what 3 p.m. costs |
| Storage or release fee | None | The car goes to your shop, not a yard |
The booking fee: $149 by phone, $129 online
It covers our truck travelling to your spot in Bayonne and your vehicle being loaded, and it is the same figure at breakfast and at 3 a.m. Give the details to the dispatcher and it is $149. Enter them yourself on the booking page and it is $129.
The miles
Charged per mile from where the vehicle is to the address you choose. Inside Bayonne, or into Jersey City, Newark or Elizabeth, that is a modest figure. Staten Island, Brooklyn, the shore or another state is priced as a long distance tow with bridge and road tolls included.
Rate sheets for terminals, carriers and shops
Our regular Bayonne customers include terminal operators on Constable Hook, carriers using Port Jersey, businesses at MOTBY, merchants on Broadway and garages on Avenue E. Each holds a rate sheet, calls a direct line, books transfers into a time window and pays on one monthly statement.
Charges that are simply not on our list
The clock and the calendar never raise a Bayonne quote: 3 a.m., Sunday and Christmas cost what Tuesday lunch costs. Fuel is inside the mileage figure, and hooking up is inside the booking fee.
Whoever rides in the cab rides for free. We own no lot, so a Bayonne car we deliver cannot pick up storage days or a release charge.
Card and cash cost the same.
Where the vehicle is, where it is going and what it is: from those three things the dispatcher reads one total off the list every company truck uses.
Get a quote nowBook online · $129Jump starts, tires, lockouts and fuel in Bayonne: one flat price for each, done by our drivers
Every company truck that tows also carries a jump pack, tire tools, a lockout kit and fuel, so a roadside job in Bayonne is one flat price with no miles added, and the dispatcher sends it first whenever it can get you going without a tow.
Jump start
A commercial pack that starts cars, vans and diesel pickups. Common Bayonne spots: the cruise lot after a week at sea, the 34th Street park-and-ride in January, a hospital lot at 7 a.m. If the battery will not take a charge, the tow is added then and there.
Flat tire change
Your spare goes on where the car stopped, whether that is a Bayonne Crossing parking row, a curb on Avenue A or a Hook Road pull-off. No spare, or two flats, and the car rides to your tire shop at the tow price.
Car lockout
Keys shut inside at a Broadway meter, in the City Hall lot or at the cruise terminal. Damage-free entry tools, no broken windows.
Fuel delivery
Out of gas in the Route 440 queue for the Bridge or on the way out of the port. Enough gas or diesel to reach a station, at any hour.
Can't tell if it is a battery or something worse? Describe the symptoms; our driver tries the roadside fix before any hook.
Call (908) 666-3168What we towWhy a quote from a Bayonne towing company that owns its trucks looks different from a broker's
Our Bayonne quote is a printed fee, a per-mile rate to your chosen address and a receipt with our company name on it; a broker's quote is a low opening figure meant to win your call for a truck it has never seen, with the rest settled at the curb.
A lead site owns nothing with wheels and cannot know what the operator it finds will charge. Its number is a guess presented as a price. Our dispatcher sees the truck, knows the driver and reads from one list.
Three questions separate the two in Bayonne. What is the fee to book, what is the mileage rate and to which address, and whose company name will be at the top of the receipt.
After a collision on Route 440 the gap widens. A truck you never asked for may take the car to a yard that bills by the day and then wants a release fee.
Call your own towing company from the scene, tell the officer where the car is going, and the yard never gets involved. If a policy or plan reimburses towing, our driver's itemized receipt is what its claims desk asks for.
Get the Bayonne number before you decide. Our rollbacks, wheel-lifts and wreckers all quote from the same sheet.

Short answers to what people ask about this page; the dispatcher can answer the rest.
Does $149 cover my whole tow in Bayonne?
$149 is the booking fee: the truck reaching you and the car going on. Miles to the destination are the only addition, quoted before dispatch.
Why is booking online $129?
You are doing the typing the dispatcher would otherwise do, so the $20 stays with you. On the Bridge approach or Route 440, phone instead; it is faster.
Do terminals and port carriers get their own rates?
Yes. Hook Road terminals, port carriers, Broadway shops and Avenue E garages can each keep a written rate sheet and settle on one statement a month. Ask the dispatcher to start one.
Does the price go up at night or on a holiday?
No. Our drivers work nights and holidays as ordinary shifts, and neither the fee nor the per-mile rate changes.
Could I be charged storage later?
No. Every tow ends at the garage, dealer or home you choose, and we have no lot to store anything in.
Will my insurer take your receipt?
Yes. It is itemized under our company name and number, with the fee, the miles and any winch or dolly work each on their own line.
Anything else? Ask on the call.
