- Light rail commuters
Our towing company for commuters at Bayonne's light rail park-and-rides: 8th, 22nd, 34th and 45th Street, Bayonne, NJ
You parked by the light rail at 7 a.m., rode to Hoboken or across to Manhattan, and at 7 p.m. the car will not turn over. Commuters are among the people who call us most in Bayonne, and nearly all of them want the same thing: to be driving home in the next half hour, not arranging a tow.
Who calls our company from Bayonne's light rail stops, and why the first thing we send is a jump pack
Light rail callers are mostly commuters with a dead battery, a flat or keys locked in after a long day, plus the odd fender-bender in the lot; our driver tries the flat-price fix first and only tows if it fails, at our $149 booking fee (or $129 if you book it online) plus miles to your mechanic.
The 34th Street park-and-ride
The biggest commuter lot in the city and the one we are called to most. Tell the dispatcher your row and the car, and wait by it so the driver does not have to search.
A battery that fails here in January usually starts with a pack. If not, the tow to your garage follows without a second call.
The 45th Street stop and uptown
Close to the Jersey City line, so a truck that has just finished a job in Jersey City can often be there quickly. Uptown commuters also park on the side streets near the stop; give the nearest cross street and which side.
The 22nd Street stop and midtown
Parking around 22nd Street is mostly on-street, with some small lots. Cars here are hemmed in by neighbors, so our driver brings a wheel-lift and skates when a rollback cannot reach.
Lockouts are common too, and handled with damage-free tools at a flat price.
The 8th Street terminus near Bergen Point
The south end of the line and the furthest stop from Exit 14A. The dispatcher checks whether a truck is already downtown before quoting from Linden, which often trims the wait.
Anything that needs to go over the Bayonne Bridge to Staten Island is quoted with the toll inside.
Dead car at a light rail lot? Give the stop, the row and the make. The cheapest fix goes first.

Call nowLight rail commuters: common questions
Short answers to what people ask about this page; the dispatcher can answer the rest.
What does a jump in a light rail lot cost?
One flat price with no mileage. If the car still will not start, the tow is priced as the booking fee plus miles.
Can you come after the last train?
Yes. The dispatcher and drivers work nights, and the price is the same at midnight as at noon.
My car is hemmed in on a street near the 22nd Street stop. Can you get it out?
Usually, with a wheel-lift and skates. Tell the dispatcher how much space there is front and back.
Can you tow the car to a shop near my office in Hoboken?
Yes. That is fee plus miles, quoted before the truck leaves, and you can ride along.
Anything else? Ask on the call.
